Somatic Movement Explorations with the TRAGER® Approach

led by Ruth Bucher, LMT, CTP, MI, CE

What is TRAGER®?

The TRAGER® Approach is a Somatic Movement Therapy modality that helps release patterns of tension held in the brain. Gentle touch, and soft weighing, rocking, jostling, and range of motion moves of the body and limbs induce a deep state of

relaxation. The results are immediate and tangible improvements in circulation, flexibility, range of motion, and balance.

The science: TRAGER uses tensegrity of the muscular-skeletal system & neuromuscular interaction to stimulate neuroplasticity of the brain. The soothing, safe, and comfortable touch almost immediately switches the nervous system from sympathetic (fight and flight) to parasympathetic (rest and digest) resulting in a deep state of relaxation throughout the body and mind.

Prerequisites:

No Prerequisites. You do not need to be a Massage Therapist or Body Worker to take any of the Introductory Workshops. The TRAGER Approach is beneficial for all professionals and care givers who work hands-on with clients and patients, family and friends.

Taking this class may also serve you solely as a means to improve your own well-being.
